2. Description of Service
Agate Precious Metals operates an e-commerce store selling gold, silver, and collectible precious-metal products. Gold Guy is a social-media publishing tool that enables e-commerce sellers to connect their online store to their TikTok account and automatically publish product listings as photo or video posts using TikTok’s Content Posting API.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use our services. By using Gold Guy, you represent that you have the authority to authorize access to your TikTok account.
4. User Accounts and Authorizations
Gold Guy uses TikTok Login Kit to authenticate your TikTok account. When you authorize Gold Guy, you grant it permission to access the following TikTok API scopes on your behalf:
- user.info.basic — to retrieve your TikTok display name and open ID for account confirmation.
- video.publish — to directly publish photo and video posts to your TikTok account.
- video.upload — to optionally upload content as a draft for your review before publishing.
You may revoke Gold Guy’s access at any time through your TikTok account settings or by contacting us at support@agatemetals.com.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to post content that violates TikTok’s Community Guidelines, infringes on any third party’s intellectual property rights, or is unlawful, defamatory, or harmful. You are solely responsible for the content published through your authorized account.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and materials on agatemetals.com are owned by Agate Precious Metals. You retain ownership of the content you publish through Gold Guy to your own TikTok account.
7. Third-Party Services
Gold Guy integrates with third-party services including TikTok (via Content Posting API and Login Kit), WooCommerce, and Make.com. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, functionality, or policies of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Gold Guy or TikTok’s API. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Agate Precious Metals shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
